Set in the historic gold town of Beechworth in North East Victoria is Australia's finest sweet shop, The Beechworth Sweet Co.
The concept for an original 'olde world' sweet shop was the vision of owner operator Judi Borschman who, with her partner, opened her small single fronted shop in September 1992. Judi was keen to source product for variety, quality and the "unusual" and the word soon spread. By 1999 the business had expanded to three shops with 12 staff and today it employs 18 staff and is a "must visit" tourist destination for Beechworth and North East Victoria.
Renowned for sourcing the finest quality chocolates and sweets from around the world, the Beechworth Sweet Co. is famous for freshness of product, where hand packing happens regularly on site and in small batches.
The BeechworthSweet Co., is open daily from 9.30-5.30 and offers hands on demonstrations in their showcase windows on weekends, school holidays and for special Beechworth events.
